Water Management in Zambezi Valley – Stakeholders’ Perspectives

ZAMADZI is a capacity building project in which a Dutch consortium of universities and institutes works together with Agência do Zambeze and eight institutes for higher education in the Zambezi valley. The aim of the project is to increase the (educational) capacity with respect to integrated water management in the Zambezi valley. During the initial stage of the project (May 2017) stories were collected among different stakeholders about their experiences with water management in the Zambezi valley, about cooperation and shared efforts. These experiences give context and meaning to the project. Both qualitative and quantitative information (response patterns) are accessible in the report. The results are part of a baseline study, used to design adequate responses to address stakeholders’ perspectives and to monitor effects of ZAMADZI interventions.
