In the Baqaa camp in Jordan, 10 civil society actors and community members rolled out a participatory action research. With support from Human Security Collective, they embarked on their research process, collectively defining the research topic and questions, choosing their participatory research methods, subsequently implementing them and finally analysing the data they collected. The following report prepared by the actors offers a glimpse into their exhilarating journey and participatory process. Their research focused on understanding the issues that threaten the human security of the people living in the camp. The actors collected 30 stories using Sprockler, carried out semi-structured interviews and a focus group in order to gain a deeper understanding of how the negative stereotypes about the camp and its residents affect their sense of security. They also tried to understand to what extent and how the pollution in and around the camp shapes these stereotypes. في مخيم البقعة في الأردن، أجرى 10 فاعل/ات في المجتمع المدني و متساكنين/ات بحثًا اجرائيا تشاركيًا. وبدعم من مجموعة الأمن الانساني، انطلقوا/ن في عملية البحث الخاصة بهم/ن، فقاموا بشكل جماعي بتحديد موضوع البحث وأسئلته، واختيار أدوات البحث التشاركية، ثم تنفيذها، وأخيرا تحليل البيانات التي جمعوها. ركزوا بحثهم على فهم المشاكل التي يعاني منها أهل المخيم والتي تهدد أمنهم/ن الانساني فجمعوا 30 قصة باستخدام أداة سبروكلر, ونفذوا مقابلات شبه منظمة ومجموعة تركيز لجمع القصص و معطيات بهدف الوصول الى فهم أعمق لكيفية تأثير الصورة النمطية على الأمن الإنساني لقاطني المخيم ودور نظافة المخيم في تشكيل هذه الصورة النمطية. ويقدم التقرير التالي (بالعربية) الذي أعده الفاعلون/ات لمحة عن رحلتهم المثيرة. يتضمن قصص مواطني/ات مخيم البقعة، بالإضافة إلى التحليل الذي أجراه الفاعلون/ات وأفراد المجتمع أثناء محاولتهم/ن فهم البيانات التي جمعوها. انقر على الرابط أدناه لقراءة التقرير المرئي (بالعربية).
